As a Senior Electronic Design Engineer, you will be a key architect in the development of life-changing medical technologies. You are responsible for the entire lifecycle of complex electronic systems—from the initial conceptual drawing to the final physical product used in hospitals worldwide.
You will work at the intersection of innovation and safety, designing both analog and digital circuits that must perform with 100% reliability. This role isn't just about "making it work"; it’s about ensuring that critical healthcare data is processed accurately and that devices remain safe and connected in a complex hospital environment. You will collaborate closely with software, mechanical, and optical experts to create seamless, integrated systems.
Functie-eisen
To be successful in this role, you bring a high level of technical precision and a deep understanding of regulated product development. Our ideal candidate meets the following criteria:
- Education: A Bachelor or Master degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a closely related technical field.
- Experience: At least 7+ years of hands-on experience in electronic product development, encompassing both digital and analog design.
- Industry Knowledge: Proven experience working within the healthcare domain or other highly regulated industries (e.g., Aerospace or Automotive).
- Standards: Solid understanding of safety and quality standards such as IEC60601-1, UL, and CE.
- Technical Tools: Proficiency in modeling and simulation tools (e.g., for signal and power integrity) and PCB design software.
- Communication: Excellent command of the English language (written and oral) to handle technical documentation and cross-functional collaboration.
- Bonus Skills: Experience with IoT connectivity (4G/5G, Wi-Fi, BLE) and the industrialization/manufacturing process of PCBA designs.
Competenties
- Analytical Thinking: You can simulate and model complex circuitry to predict behavior before a single part is even ordered.
- Structured & Precise: You take pride in a "first-time-right" mentality, following rigorous documentation and verification processes.
- Problem-Solving Attitude: You approach technical roadblocks with a customer-centric mindset, focusing on how the hardware affects the end-user (the patient and the doctor).
- Collaborative: You enjoy working in multi-disciplinary teams and can translate hardware requirements into clear language for software and mechanical engineers.
- Quality-Driven: You never cut corners when it comes to safety and reliability, understanding the high stakes of medical technology.
