Your Impact as a Data Scientist AI
Within our Data & AI Practice, you will lead the technical and analytical transformation of modern projects as a Data Scientist AI. Think of designing and deploying predictive models for automated sanction checks at a major financial multinational, or building advanced Generative AI and NLP solutions with full compliance frameworks. Together with our Data Engineers and Data Analysts, you will take our clients' data maturity to the highest level.
- Advanced Predictive Modeling: Design, validate, and fine-tune complex machine learning, deep learning, and statistical models to extract actionable insights from structured and unstructured data.
- GenAI & Applied AI: Implement modern AI techniques (such as LLMs, RAG architectures, and NLP pipelines) to solve complex business problems.
- Responsible & Transparent AI: Ensure model explainability (XAI), fairness, and strict compliance with regulations (such as the EU AI Act and GDPR).
- Modern Experimentation Standards: Conduct rigorous A/B testing, hypothesis testing, and statistical validation while adhering to enterprise reference architectures (including NORA and Common Ground).
- Practice Building: Share your expertise on GenAI tooling, experimental frameworks, and data science best practices, helping to build the Data & AI Practice of Randstad Digital into the go-to expert in the market.

Functie-eisen
You have a passion for statistics, advanced algorithms, and translating complex data into scalable business solutions.
- Education: A completed degree at Bachelor's/Master's level (e.g., Data Science, Econometrics, Computer Science, AI, or Mathematics).
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Data Scientist or AI Specialist in an enterprise environment.
- Industry Knowledge: Experience within a commercial sector (Banking, Retail, Aviation, or Telecom) or the public sector.
- Tech Stack: Experience with Python, R, SQL, and additional tools e.g. scikit-learn, PyTorch, TensorFlow, Data Bricks, Pandas, and data visualization frameworks.
- Cloud & Model Deployment: Demonstrated experience with cloud environments (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and foundational knowledge of MLOps, API integration, and containerization (Docker).
- Languages: Fluent English.

Arbeidsvoorwaarden
- A salary between €4.500 and €6.500 gross per month based on a 40-hour work week
- A one-year contract for 36 hours per week, with the clear intention to transition into an indefinite contract
- A monthly Individual Choice Budget (IKB) of 8.76% of your salary, which you can use as you wish
