As a Controller, you play a pivotal role in strengthening our supply chain finance operations. You are a key player across financial accounting, performance management, and CAPEX project controlling, seamlessly navigating between hands-on month-end closures and strategic process improvements.
In this dynamic role, you will be deeply involved in the financial heart of our operations and manufacturing sites. You manage financial planning, lead cross-functional change initiatives, and optimize data and analytics tools (such as Power BI, Spotfire, and SAP) to provide clear cash visibility and budget control. Additionally, you serve as a key user for Capex financial management and oversee indirect purchasing through Coupa, while continuously refining our internal control framework.

In this position, you cover three core domains (Accounting, Performance Management, and Project Management) with a strong focus on technical factory investments:
- Financial Controlling & reporting: You execute month-end closing activities, manage financial accounting, and ensure correct asset valuation and depreciation.
- CAPEX Project Management: You monitor financial performance across active plant investments, tracking variance between planned vs. actual scope, timeline, and budget.
- Data & analytics: You dive deep into financial data to enhance cash visibility, build insightful reporting dashboards, and optimize financial tools.
- Change & continuous improvement: You lead process improvement projects, establish clear governance (such as RACI matrices), and drive operational excellence across a global matrix organization.
- Key User & process oversight: You manage the internal control cycle and coordinate indirect procurement processes via Coupa.
Competenties
To be successful in this role and make an immediate impact within our supply chain finance team, you bring the following background, skills, and personal qualities:
- Education & experience: You hold a Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, combined with solid experience in accounting and financial reporting within a complex supply chain or manufacturing environment.
- CAPEX Expertise: Proven, hands-on experience with CAPEX management and investment controlling in a plant/factory setting is required.
- Systems & tools: You possess strong proficiency in internal control frameworks and advanced MS Excel. Practical experience with systems such as SAP/BW, Spotfire BI, Coupa, or Oracle HFM is a strong advantage.
- Language Skills: Excellent command of the English language (written and spoken) is required; proficiency in Dutch is considered a nice-to-have.
- Analytical & data-driven: You easily penetrate complex financial datasets and convert them into clear, actionable stuurinformatie.

To determine your starting salary, we carefully grade you upon joining. Your fixed salary is paid monthly, even between assignments.
- You receive a salary max. € 4750 gross per month based on 38 hours.
