FrieslandCampina is looking for a driven, independent interim Category Procurement Manager for a 5-month period to maintain operational excellence, manage suppliers, and secure volumes for strategic dairy categories such as Lactose and Whey permeate.
In this pivotal interim role, you will step straight into a high-performing global team. Being the Category Procurement Manager you will implement global procurement category strategies; aligning business needs and consumer requirements with supply market capabilities driving long term value for FrieslandCampina.
Your daily priorities and key challenges:
- Strategic Sourcing management: Lead and drive the tenders globally for categories in scope. Ensure that sourcing plans are in place and executed.
- Supplier Relationship management: Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers. Drive Supplier Relationship Management and Supplier Performance Management.
- Financial management: Creating continuous transparency in cost pricing and related commodity pricing movements incl. impact analyses.
- Stakeholder management: Build and maintain good relationships at tactical and strategic level. Aim for an Integrated perspective across functions and disciplines.
You will join the Global Procurement Dairy Ingredients Category team, consisting of 4 Category Procurement Managers, 2 Operational Procurement Buyers, 4 Support Officers, and a Data & Analytics Expert. - Proven procurement experience in food ingredients or commodity sourcing, preferably within the FMCG sector.
- Strong track record in strategic sourcing, executing tenders, and supplier relationship management.
- Solid understanding of supply chain dynamics and commodity pricing impact analysis.
- Proven capability to operate independently in a temporary role and manage international stakeholders.
- Full professional fluency in English (written and verbal).

Arbeidsvoorwaarden
- A salary between € 5,100.- and € 6,100.- gross per month based on 32 hours.
- A 5-month contract for 32 hours per week (mid-October 2026 to mid-March 2027).
- A monthly Individual Choice Budget (IKB) of 8.76% of your salary that you can flexibly deploy.
- 25 vacation days; 5 days can be included in the IKB budget.
- An attractive travel allowance; 100% public transport reimbursement or € 0.23 per km.
