Job Description
As a Motion LAB Production Engineer at ASML, you bridge the gap between initial design concepts and high-volume manufacturing. You optimize assembly processes for high-precision linear actuators in cutting-edge lithography systems (XT, NXT, NXE, EXE).
Operating in a controlled laboratory environment, you validate new products, process alterations, and tooling prior to factory floor rollout to minimize production risks.
Key Responsibilities:
• Formulate precise work instructions, process flowcharts, and parameter settings for mechatronic assembly.
• Serve as the second-line technical escalation point for complex shop floor disturbances.
• Lead root-cause failure analysis on non-conforming parts to establish permanent preventive measures.
• Partner with R&D during pilot phases to integrate manufacturability feedback early into product designs.
• Apply Lean, FMEA, and SPC tools to stabilize manufacturing processes and increase product yield.
Functie-eisen
- You hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Applied Physics, or Industrial Engineering.
- You have at least 3 years of experience in manufacturing or production engineering within a high-tech environment.
- You have hands-on experience working with high-precision mechatronics, linear actuators, or precision tooling.
- You possess practical experience applying FMEA, SPC, and root-cause failure analysis methods.
