Are you ready to shape the future of heavy-duty transport technology? As an Embedded Software Test Engineer | Automotive at DAF | PACCAR Electronics in Eindhoven, you ensure that high-tech embedded systems operate reliably and safely before trucks hit the road.
In this dynamic role at DAF | PACCAR Electronics, you focus on the verification and validation of embedded software powering powertrain and vehicle electronic domains. You design automated test procedures and execute them on advanced Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) systems. Working within a multi-disciplinary, international environment, you collaborate daily with project leads, software developers, and hardware engineers.
Your key responsibilities:
- Design and develop automated test cases based on defined system requirements
- Conduct functional, network management, functional safety, and cybersecurity testing
- Manage test suites and track results using HP ALM within an automated framework
- Perform test execution on state-of-the-art Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) setups
- Partner with development engineers to isolate, debug, and resolve software issues quickly

Job Requirements
You will be successful if:
- You hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Automotive, Electronics, Computer Science, or Mechatronics
- You have at least 2 years of professional experience in embedded software testing
- You hold an ISTQB certification (or equivalent)
- You have hands-on experience with Vector and dSPACE software tools
