Within the Global Powertrain Engine Engineering department, you take ownership of structural engine components and complex internal systems. You balance innovation, reliability, and cost-efficiency while leading cross-functional teams and managing supplier partnerships.
Your key responsibilities:
- Lead Simultaneous Engineering (SE) teams to drive component design from concept to production.
- Translate project targets into technical product specifications in close collaboration with suppliers.
- Execute Design for Six Sigma (DFSS) deliverables and resolve complex issues using DMAIC principles.
- Direct validation plans and monitor progress to ensure key project milestones are met.
- Evaluate technical data, compile actionable insights, and present recommendations to management.
Functie-eisen
- You hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Automotive Engineering.
- You have a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in mechanical or hardware development.
- You possess functional fluency in English (written and spoken).
- You have experience applying structured problem-solving methodologies such as DMAIC or DFSS.
