In this position, you drive the creation of sophisticated healthcare products within the Product and System Engineering department at Philips. Working under the guidance of a senior technical lead, you turn conceptual ideas into scalable, volume-ready mechanical solutions. Your key responsibilities:
- Translate high-level conceptual designs into detailed mechanical sub-systems suitable for volume manufacturing.
- Produce complete technical product documentation, including assembly instructions, service manuals, and Bills of Materials (BOM).
- Partner with multi-disciplinary engineering sub-teams to solve complex dynamic, thermal, and mechatronic design challenges.
- Manage effective technical communication and build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, customers, and external suppliers.
- Support the integration, testing, and continuous improvement of high-precision mechatronic systems at Philips.

- You hold a completed Higher Professional Education (HBO) or Academic (WO) degree (BSc/MSc) in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics.
- You have at least 5 years of professional work experience in developing innovative products or mechatronic systems.
- You possess proven proficiency in working with 3D CAD software Creo Parametric.
- You have knowledge of medical quality and safety standards such as ISO 13485 or IEC 60601.
