In this position, you translate complex engineering requirements into optimal embedded software and interface solutions. You work closely with component suppliers, guide comprehensive validation protocols, and apply advanced troubleshooting to prevent production downtime. Beyond technical execution, you mentor junior engineers, evaluate external vendor technologies, and present strategic design proposals to senior management. Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and test embedded software and product interfaces for manufacturing and component integration.
- Collaborate closely with external suppliers to oversee and validate supplier-developed embedded software.
- Develop and execute robust test plans, procedures, and automated testing protocols for electronic product parts.
- Perform advanced root-cause troubleshooting across hardware and software to eliminate production downtime.
- Evaluate and approve new vendor components and technologies against Philips quality and regulatory standards.

- You hold a bachelor's or master's degree in Embedded Systems, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science.
- You have at least 4 years of experience in embedded software development and test automation.

- You possess fluent written and spoken English skills.
