Drive strategic impact within JDE Peet's European supply chain. As Regional Procurement CAPEX Buyer, you lead key procurement strategies, optimize a €30m regional spend, and spearhead capital expenditure initiatives across major European production facilities.
As Regional Procurement CAPEX Buyer, you join the Technical and Logistics Procurement (TLP) team to execute CAPEX and industrial gases sourcing strategies across European factories and plants. You maximize value, mitigate supply risks, and drive continuous improvement within a world-class procurement organization.
Key Accountabilities:
- Develop and execute regional CAPEX category sourcing strategies to optimize total cost of ownership across European sites.
- Proactively manage key supplier relationships and strategic contracts to ensure supply security, innovation, and continuous cost & cash improvements.
- Drive long-term productivity pipelines and leverage risk management expertise for regional procurement operations.
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders and suppliers to meet JDE Peet's Common Grounds ESG targets, focusing on carbon emissions reduction and responsible sourcing.
- Lead procurement initiatives for industrial gases and single automation projects across European operations.

You are successful if...
- You hold a degree or MBA in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- You have at least 5 years of relevant procurement experience, preferably with a background in Engineering.
- You possess a proven track record of delivering best-in-class cost and cash results within a regional or complex environment.
- You possess the ability to travel to production facilities and plants across Germany, France, and the Netherlands.

Arbeidsvoorwaarden
- A salary between €5900 and €7950 gross per month based on 40 hours
- A contract for year of 40 hours per week
- A monthly Individual Choice Budget (IKB) of 8.76% of your salary that you can flexibly deploy
- A good travel allowance; 100% public transport reimbursement or € 0.23 per km
- 25 vacation days; 5 days can be included in the IKB budget
