In a multidisciplinary R&D environment, you focus on complex topics such as media handling systems, high-precision frames, and linear and rotational drive systems.
Together with stakeholders from Manufacturing, Service, Purchasing, and Quality Assurance, you specify and agree on the exact requirements based on project demands. Using your expertise, you create technical designs and concepts that perfectly balance time, quality, functionality, and costs (QFTC). You collaborate closely with colleagues from other disciplines to develop smart, creative solutions. Finally, you test and review your model-based designs by building prototypes to prove the feasibility of your identified routes.
Functie-eisen
- A completed Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field.
- Demonstrable experience with designing mechanical components in parametric CAD/CAE systems, specifically Siemens NX.
- Fluent in English (verbal and written) and eligible to work in Venlo.
